Chad Slade
Founder
Gramata Nikki Shorter
President
Gramata Shorter is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. She has been married to Joseph Shorter for 17 years. Gramata has one son – Chad. She attended C.L. Harper High School, followed by University of Alabama in Birmingham, where she is currently studying accounting.
Mrs. Shorter is currently working as an accounts payable clerk in Birmingham, Alabama. With 10 years of accounting experience, she is inspired to communicate the messages of family dedication, commitment to education, character development, and perseverance.
Before Chad decided to give back so freely to the community, Mrs. Shorter was dedicated to guiding and giving back to children in the community. She has led a variety of programs, including Junior Achievement classes, Team Mom to several Little League sports teams, drug awareness seminars and mentoring sessions.
Gramata Shorter is the President of the Chad Slade 62 Foundation. She is involved in the Foundation’s work in both the Moody and Birmingham communities.
Angela Webb-Weinberg
Vice President - Secretary
Angela Webb-Weinberg is a native and transplant of Atlanta, Georgia and The Colony, Texas. Angela attended CL Harper and the Colony High School followed by Grambling State University and University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she received her BA political science/ Marketing degree. She is currently studying for her MBA at University of Phoenix.
Angela along with her family has supported philanthropic efforts in the community. She currently serves on several community boards, and also co-hosts a weekly community show called "Sunday Conversation." She has been married to Martin Weinberg for ten years and they have two furbabies, Breeze and Skye.
Xavior Hill
Treasurer
Xavior Hill is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. She has been married to Michael Hill for 27 years. Xavior has three sons – Chase, Mychal, Justyn and a daughter-in-law Kenya Hill. She attended C.L. Harper High School, followed by Grambling State University, where she studied accounting.
Mrs. Hill is currently working as an Accounting Assistant in Atlanta, Georgia. With over 11 years of accounting experience, she is inspired to continuously have Faith in God's Word while conveying the messages of family dedication in her community.
Mrs. Hill has led a variety of programs at her church and continues to be a dedicated grandmother to her two beautiful grandkids MJ and Kaiyah.
Xavior Hill is a board member at the Chad Slade 62 Foundation. She is involved in the Foundation’s work in both the Atlanta, Moody, and Birmingham communities.
Joseph Shorter
Board Member
Joseph Shorter is a native of Birmingham, Alabama. He attended West End High School, followed by Lawson State in Birmingham, where he received his degree in Business Administration.
Mr. Shorter is dedicated to guiding and giving back to children in the community. His continuous Faith in God motivates him to never stop being an inspiration to children.
